With 22 years of experience both building and renovating homes across Sydney, Chad has acquired extensive building knowledge and expertise, with a focus on the Northern Beaches. As both a licensed builder and qualified carpenter, his in-depth practical knowledge and passion for quality craftsmanship makes him an asset to his clients. He will be your first point of contact in terms of project liaison and quoting, and will lead as your Project Manager from the planning stage right through to job completion. Chad loves sharing the experience with the homeowners, from the excitement of kicking off the project to finding creative and clever solutions throughout the build. The best part for him? The final meeting with the client, hearing about their newfound happiness with their home and how it's changed the way they live. An active dad with 3 children, he immensely enjoys his beach lifestyle, spending time surfing, at the gym and running half marathons and short distance triathlons.
Peter has lived and breathed building for the last 40 years. He has worked extensively in the building industry throughout the Sydney metropolitan area. With his comprehensive practical skills, Peter will be a familiar face on your project as the lead Site Manager. With an eye for detail and an understanding of complex architectural construction, he aims to anticipate issues before they arise, and quickly jumps into problem-solving mode when needed. Peter is the highly respected father figure at Timbaworx...known as a taskmaster on site but a fair one! His goal is to ensure a high quality standard and guide his team to achieve it on time and on budget, without shortcuts. His greatest personal reward on the job is helping his customers in crafting a home that realises their dreams. A beaches local, he has a keen interest in ski paddling both recreationally and competitively, plus a longstanding involvement in the surf lifesaving community.
Jon is a qualified carpenter with almost 10 years of experience, commencing at an early age as an apprentice and working closely with his dad Peter. Recently appointed as director at Timbaworx, Jon’s professionalism has made him an integral part of the team to steer the business forward. Jon brings energy and precision to his role and he will lead his building team on your site on a daily basis, while remaining hands-on with the tools. He gets great satisfaction from seeing his projects run smoothly through from start to finish, with nothing better than a happy client at the end. Jon also enjoys the creative side of every project, helping clients achieve custom solutions and finishes that truly make their build unique with a personal stamp. A real people person, Jon thrives on being a part of the close-knit team, and the camaraderie that comes from a crew that really enjoys working hard together. When not having a banter with the boys, Jon follows his passion for sports and fitness, and has played many a rugby league game, as well as helping coach junior teams.
Jake is a qualified carpenter and now tasked with team leadership as project Foreman. With the company’s dedication to training, he aims to secure his builders license, and gain knowledge of both design and operations/management. One of the things that Jake loves about his role is that every day presents a new challenge and he thrives on the variety of projects he gets the opportunity to work on. He sees each new project as a unique chance to create something special for the client, at the same time furthering knowledge and skills in his building career. Jake has a creative streak with a passion for music. His instruments of choice are guitar and piano, as well as music production and working as a club DJ most weekends. He is also a keen surfer and an all-round sportsperson.
Liam started with Timbaworx in 2020 and is now a fully qualified carpenter after completing his apprenticeship with us. He is really enjoying the team culture - a great balance where everyone gets on well and enjoys working hard together, with a bit of banter! His ambition is to attain his builders license and become a highly skilled builder within the next 10 years. He’s loving the learning process so far, learning how to achieve different outcomes, plus growing as a carpenter in understanding the finer details of working with timber. Liam’s passion in his spare time is playing rugby for the Newport Breakers and he also coaches an under 15 rugby team.
Joshua is now a fully qualified carpenter, after completing his apprenticeship with us, and right now his focus is on learning as much as he possibly can from the experience around him. Joshua is an all-rounder when it comes to sport, and is up for anything from team to individual sports.
