Situated on a corner block of a tree lined street, our client's desire was to create a spacious and easy-living environment with a distinctive traditional feel. Their vision was to create their own take on the classic Hamptons styling with a Northern Beaches slant.
Needing space for their growing family, the home was designed with a second floor landing overlooking the living area downstairs. The upper level is dedicated to the bedrooms, with the downstairs a spacious open plan living zone. Both levels enjoy abundant natural light with character-filled bay windows used throughout. Bi-fold doors have been utilised to allow a natural flow from the kitchen and dining area to the outdoor deck, which has a traditional verandah aesthetic. With a colour palette of crisp blue, grey and white contrasted with dark timber decking, the vibe is fresh whilst retaining warmth. The landscaping included the incorporation of a secondary courtyard nook as an extra chill-out zone distinct from the deck.
