Surrounded by mature trees and greenery, this home was ready for a modern transformation to capitalise on its peaceful outdoor environment. The home’s growing young family needed a creative approach to enhance living space and enjoy the outdoor aspect.
Modernisation and expansion was the client brief, and our design collaboration has achieved a unique transformation...a sleek home with the ambience of a secluded forest lodge. The use of warm timber features throughout the build ties in with the natural garden setting, while the contrast of black aluminium windows, doors and cabinetry adds a bold modern feel. The home now has ample choice for living space and relaxing, on both upper and lower levels. Adjoining the kitchen and dining space, the tiled upper deck is truly an outdoor room, with its garden outlook and timber privacy screening. The lower level lounge and living room is expansive with ample space for the family to chill out in both entertainment and lounging zones.
