Functional family living was of prime importance to the client for this addition and remodel. Creating space for relaxed time together was at the heart of the design, along with inviting zones for indoors and outdoor entertaining. With a focus on open plan living, the home was transformed into a family haven with coastal chill.
With a love of beaches living and family time outdoors, the brief was to dial up this lifestyle and substantially expand the living space. The upper level was dedicated to bedrooms including a master retreat, a dual second living space and office, plus a powder room. Downstairs, a light-filled new kitchen, dining and living space was created, along with a main bathroom remodel. A crisp coastal palette of white, ocean blue and grey complements the use of premium timbers throughout. The outdoors was reimagined to suit all occasions and seasons. A covered entertaining patio flows from the kitchen, with access to both a sun-drenched new pool zone, and a level yard stylishly landscaped with minimal maintenance in mind.
