With commanding views over Pittwater, this hillside home has a stunning natural aspect. The overarching design brief was to open it up in a truly expansive fashion and make the indoor and outdoor spaces merge as one multi-purpose living and entertaining zone.
Bringing the outside in was paramount for our client, with the kitchen and living spaces able to be completely opened up to enjoy the gorgeous views and tranquil environment. Bi-fold windows and doors were a key element, with an extensive L-shape incorporated into the kitchen layout. This created a breezy and fluid entertaining zone, with servery space and multiple possibilities for casual dining and relaxing from the indoors to the expansive deck. Bi-fold and sliding doors feature in the living room, with a sense of being totally connected to the outdoor space when fully opened. Warm natural materials tie in with the setting, with a focus on quality timber throughout and earthy travertine stone in the bathrooms.
