Accentuating the gorgeous water views was paramount in this remodel, as well as finding unique ways to bring light and natural warm tones into the home. With a new baby in the household, a stunning revamp of the kitchen was a key, along with enhancing the living spaces.
With an amazing position overlooking Clontarf’s waterside, our client was passionate about showcasing it with complementary materials and finishes. Natural tones and glass were used extensively to accentuate the view, and achieve a sense of lightness. A show-stopping kitchen was on the list for our client, with an oversized island, generous benchtops and extra storage space maximising the footprint. Deep ocean blue tones were used in contrast to fresh white tiles to tie in harmoniously with the water views. The use of glass doors between kitchen and living spaces adds to the feeling of openness, as does the atrium window feature above the staircase. Doorways and windows were also replaced and enhanced in size throughout.
