To suit a growing family, the vision was to enhance and extend both indoor and outdoor living spaces. With contemporary coastal design, open plan living was brought to life on the ground floor with an expansive outdoor entertaining area. Upstairs, the focus was a bedroom remodel with a refreshed second living space.
With a modern beach house aesthetic, the remodel is the essence of open plan living with a relaxed indoor to outdoor flow. Our client wanted to expand the alfresco living space, making it an outdoor room and extension of the kitchen for flexible entertaining and mealtimes. The revamp of the kitchen incorporated a butler's pantry and bar, a feature stone-topped island, and an open servery to the deck. The light-filled dining and living space has a generous footprint, with a gas fireplace. All upper level bedrooms were rejuvenated, along with an enlarged second living space. The coastal feel is mirrored inside and out with wall panelling and external cladding, contrasted with premium timber flooring.
Creating a unique outdoor entertaining and BBQ area that flowed seamlessly from a reimagined open plan kitchen and living/dining area with butlers pantry and bar.
